New Years Eve

For New Years Eve, We went to Salt Lake City. There was this Eve Celebration thru out the City. It was so super fantastic. We had a great time. We participated in a Broadway Musical Sing-a-long, we heard Swiss Bells, a Celtic group perform. We watched a Improv Comedy Show. We then went to the Salt Palace and the kids surprised us by having a blast at Bounce Town, it was this huge area with moon walks some for kids and some for kids aged 12 and older. The kids really had fun. There was also a party in the Ballroom at the Salt Palace with huge balls. It was sooooo..... fun. We saw this Incendiary Circus that was very good and a group of guys doing snow ski/board stunts that were very exciting. And to end it all some great fire works. The night was very cold with some snow, but there was plenty of indoor activities so that we could warm up. Welcome 2011, Let us do our best to be who we should this year, and to live life to it's fullest.~

Sledding In Happy Hollow

Today we went sledding in Kaysville @ Happy Hollow. It is a great place that I saw on the internet. When we got there, the hollow was full of kids and adults alike sledding and having a good time. A little more snow would have made it a bit more fun. It sure was cold.~ We are sure that we will come back.......

Sledding In West Bountiful

On the Day after Christmas it finally began to snow. My poor Mom and Don had been waiting for snow for their whole visit. Yay! So with the small amount of snow that arrived and with it still snowing we went to the West Bountiful park and went sledding down the hill. We built a snowman, which is something that Mom had always wanted to do. It was fun. ~ Maybe it will snow some more before they leave.

We took some photos in front of our Christmas Tree.

Kate's Christmas Dance

Kate went to her school Christmas Dance tonight. She is so beautiful. We had barely gotten the lights up on the Christmas tree when it was time for her to get ready to go. Kate said that she had a fun time.

Sledding

Today it snowed. We took the children sledding on a hill in a park near our home. It was grand. We took a ride up thru Little Cottonwood Canyon, up to the ski resorts of Snowbird and Alta. The snow was falling pretty hard there. We were able to try our tire cables out for the first time. They work, YAY!!! It was a little scary, but Tim is a great driver. We thought to sled there, but the snow was falling too hard and everyone was leaving, so we thought better for it and left too.

Park City

We took a drive up to Park City today. It was great. The kids loved the view. They were hoping to get to play in some snow, but alas, there just wasn't much, except for on the slopes. The ski slopes opened on Thursday and of course they are making snow especially for those skiers. We drove up to the Olympic museum, but didn't go in. We will save that for another time. We walked around the town of Park City and toured an art museum and went into a couple of cool shops. We even rode the Trolley. We had a fun time. Brandon said that it was the best Saturday of his WHOLE life.
